Uschi Bagnall was born in 1945 near Munich, Germany. After her apprenticeship as a shop window decorator, she studied graphic design in Munich. Then she worked with Ottl Aicher for the Olympic Games in Munich and worked for over 30 years freelance with the Bavarian Television. After a period of graphic design teaching in Amsterdam, she created “Bagnall Studios” with her husband Brian Bagnall in 1970. Together they published many books for children and adults, as well as books about drawing and painting for hobby painters.
She had numerous exhibitions in Germany and Italy, where she showed her ability to combine painting and text, different materials as well as serious with humurous matters.
